Formicivorus KNOL HNHR 5 Sept Hello'd canyon hole, the 92a hole, holes at the lower barn, the aloe hole, etc. Nothing. 6 Sept 1150-1220 Watched Knol, Finally Found then hanging around granary. There was an alarm call - they all Flew up to the upward Facing hole hi in the Y sycamore (can I : assume there are no holes in the granary?) [Walt reports roosting in syc nest hole] 7 Sept 1000 Bird in syc nest hole ! I climb (Fearing fledgling) and Find... empty, but fresh chips! 10 Sept 0645-0710 Saw 4 visits to the aloe hole. I'd say they're egg laying or shopping still (since this is First activity I've seen here. 11 Sept 0855-0905 Spied on aloe - nada. [Bird Flushed later today] 12 Sept 1015 Peeped - empty, Drat! 14 Sept Roost watch: No one into aloe hole; hear ≥1 bird at syc hole I've also been spying on the aloe hole periodically - nada. 16 Sept 0645-0715 Gave em dogFood, then watched. No visits to the sycamore hole (couldn't see both From where) sat. Saw 2 jays (2102, 2103) who both are wearing ♂ plumage (have they molted yet?) Also saw a ♂ wearing "Frosted" red crown with MKE? Who is this? (better call it MD) Spied on aloe For 15 min-nada.
