silty, in lower 7.0, silty with zones & beds shly silt & argill silt lamin ae. Silty zones have fest. (Sample 4) = lower 7' (Sample 5) = upper 7' G. 2.6 Shely siltstone with thin interbeds finely laminated silt (local X-12u) H. possibly very fine ss. Breaks to thin platy frags & chips. H. 4.9 shale, gray silty some gray shely silt layers. (Sample 6) I 19.3 Shale, gray silty with thin interbeds argill, mostly do not crop, but in upper 5' a few silt beds, hard, resistant. Fossils in this interval. Inoceramus sp. (Sample 7, lower 10'+ (Sample 8, upper 10'+) 8A- fossils J. 20.2 Interbedded silty shale and platy, thin bedded, & lam siltstone, siltstone increases upward at expense of silty shale. Locally crops in thin, platy ledges. some calc concre in upper part. Fossils sparse, - fragments (Sample 9.) K 16.3 Fine qv. laminated (X-12u) finess and siltstone with partings 41
