3. Railroad cut showing top Dakota ss. It consists of thin beds ss alternating with beds of shale. Indication of shaling out of top sandstone to N. AIN-50-41 SM2H? N 13°W, 45°W, light colored shales with bentonites and some silty layers with fine fregus. May be in Upper Benton, may be Apishapa Contact with dk sh at end of pit - All is in old mine entry where cliff collapsed. 64.
