16 Approx measurement of clay complex This one locally has bent 4,00 5 ± sh, 8 to 10 ± 5.0 7 upper 5+6 ft observed to base ss body 129 17.5 14,3 bed here is silty good clay 1st Glen comes in & bentonite tr S. below here + 15 First Glen ss is 15 to 20, poor 2nd sh zone the 2nd ss under it has resistant upper part - local ledge A/N-50-44 18 Moffet Mine New Johnson Mine In on main clay - at working face is 4.9 ft. 200' + from entry, things thru root pinch, then opens to 6.0+ closer to entry. Bentonite-like clay at base is about 01 to 0.4 grades into clay. Clay uniform, tough semiplastic laminated - almost looks varved. Pyrite coating on surfaces, one 0.2 zone of crushed & slicked clay about 2.2 from base. Foot wall stripped to ripple-mk'd surface - beautiful exposure. Samples - spot of main clay 2ucl Base1 4" (bentonitic?) 62.
