Lyons Road, Section 3 Appears to start at first ledge and presumably has Graneros over it. Doubtless a little more on top of this. A. 1.5 Quartzite, fine-gr, black, weathering light brown to red brown B. 0.7 Siltstone, gray to greenish-gray, minor silty claystone C. 0.6 Bentonite D. 0.5 Silty gray claystone, some silt E 0.2 Siltstone, hazel bed forms ledge dense gray, weathering brown. F 1.5 Shale, silty, upper 1.0 dk-gray plastic silty, lower 0.5 with white weather beds fine silt, G. 0.2 Siltstone, hazel bed, loc. Fine as as in E. gray with plant fossils brown weathering H. 2.4 Shale, dk-gray to gray (oscillating) silty. (Sample 1) I 0.5 Bentonite (Sample 2) J 0.2 Dk gr shaly siltstone with layers K 1.2 Sandstone-silty, very fine-gr dense greenish-gray (similar to E & G above). Prominent ledge. L. 1.3 Shale, black, fissile silty M. 4.2 Sandstone, dense, gray, hard (siliceous siltstone to very fine-gr quartz) with fragments. 51
