211 ferruginous, local Fe stene cones. 22.8 Shale as below ferusy zone. Gran-dk gray fissile w/ = few thin Fe-sto zones w/ silty layers. Silky (zyen) 10T at 4.5 top. Lower half=Sample 4, upper half=Sample 5 Shale, dkgray to black, weathers & blocky fissile, a few thru beds & laminae siltstone in upper part. 23.5 Silky gray shale and argillaceous siltstone. Beds thin, very, weather into grey & brown. Becomes darker Shelly in upper 5', local large Fe-stone cones in zone 9.0 4t above base. Not Sampled 41.5 Shale dkgray to black, few thin laminae Silt. Sample 7 0.3 Bentonite 1.2 Black sh w/ mzy interbeds olive siltstone, weathers dull red-brown (Part 2) - continuous by tracing bentonites. 0.1 to 0.2 Bentonite. 11.0 Shale Gray to black fissile with scattered thin layers siltstone weathered Fe brown & red, Lower 5' = Sampled Upper 6' = Sample 9
