Mau Mine - A double operation. M10 bad, which is weathered sandy zone below Glenc-Lytle discent - used in brick mix. M2a red - clay between upper Lytle sands t bessel - see Turkey Creek Section. Used exclus. for brick (in mix) no approx. I.s. chiefly red, some green streaks, 1st Bad on hogback E. side. Above ss. that caps ridge. Good plastic cl. 4' thick, Above this 10-12 feet ss with another Thin bad of silt on top, ss locally slippy. Clay is 3 1/2. Rustler Mine - Greenowes on Alzuncola Stranger Mine - one at saddle on Alzmeda hogback now abandoned. Robinson no longer leases Chieftan - both sides highway, clay beds of basic ceramic, 1/3 width - of strip which is +/- 50', ss for table mines with clay. Bottom clay best has coal over it. This - chief clay - used in ZS mixes.
