Eldorado Springs Section Part I - Abandoned irrigation ditch above rd at entrance to Spzs, S. side. Measured up from top of massive SS P at top Part II. Sandstone 3.3 Shale, silty, dk gray to gray where highly silty, with interbedds of argillaceous siltstone that increase in number toward bottom of interval. Bentonite 0.1 1.3 Shale, dk gray, silty, with laminate and thin beds silt. Sandstone, fine-gr, ferrousous, with interbedded shelly siltstone 1.6 3.6 Shale, dk gray, silty, with laminated silt 3.7 Siltstone with interbeds and partings of argill, siltstone and dull gray shale. Silt in bed up to .5 thick but everywhere about .4?04 #1 Shale, or shaly clay, dk gray, finely silty, with scattered laminated silt, a few thin beds silt at top. S1/3 3.5 Siltstone and gray shale, thinly interbedded. {#2 Shale, dk gray, silty, with some laminae siltwell and 0.4 bentonite c.3 above base.
