This zone consists of several ledges with red clay, much our lower narrow channel at the upper and gray layers cleft with limestone above. Above ledge is slope on clefts with interbeds ss, miner red, much gray weather clasts then right at pine margin is friable cql with pebbles up to 1/4" The three small clay beds at top Glacieren are probably in here, with the top one on the backslope; thus - the ss beneath upper one is locally thick.
