Disconformity (channel.) 0.1 Locally loose white weathered bentonitic? clay, .8 Shelly clay, silty with locally thin beds of laminated silt, overthins blue gray to gray 1.0 Interbedded shelly clay as above and beds siltstone, 20+.5 thick. Lel .6 Shelly clay as above 1.0 " " " " with thin interbeds and laminated siltstone. 2.0 ± Massive fine to med. gr ss. .5 Zone forzible ss continues with above but opens locally to contain few inches of sand clay with bentonitic lenses locally, approx 5.0± First Glencruin ss massive ledge irregular banded ss. 9. At this point, just N of where Dakota leaves ridge crest, The clay bed between the 1st and 2nd Glencruin ss units pinches out and the two ss. join. 10. First Glencruin excessively thick here, may join with 2nd glencruin locally. Scallop in bog back probably due to local thickening of upper clay, but it is silty, irony and still not very thick 52
