Apr 5.0' Green silty claystone, micronized zone. 14.0 Sandstone, medium & coarse with scattered pebbles, Fe specks, whole X lam. Above this unit there locally appears a shale breccia that separates off the ledge above by from 6 to 10 ft. Laterally the Lyle comes into the unit above channelwise + joins it - this canyon locates 98.0 Massive cliff-forming coarse sand. gr SS, X lam, with zones cal SS, local shaly zone 1' thick 40' above base. Gives red wash locally & Fe stained cap on SS below. Another zone sandy shale, 27'/'2 above this [12.0 Sandstone] help for Taven 19.0 Slope obscured, massive cal SS's above with some interbedded soft silt. Detail further along slope, & SS for 13 ft. then 8' of argillaceous siltstone, platy argill SS, sandy cl(sft), weathers life grey with pink stained zones. Hard, loc. qtz, tinted ledge fine, loc. argill SS weathers d/t rusty br. with scattered pebbles - This is basal Glencliff cal, 36
