Bentonite road cut (.04 benfounte top Sec.2) 5.6 Lower 4 to 4.6 is black shly, clay fissile. Upper 1' Dk gr-y gritty silty clay Bentonite, 6.0 (approx) Gray clay and silty clay, upper 3.5 has most silt. 5.5 Broken up SS, prob same as b- belongs interval but not strictly in place. 49.7. Soundstone, fine to med. grained, hard loc. grititic beds .4 to 6.0 but thick beds in upper 12' next zv. closer to 1.0. Beds x lem some shly ss ptns betw. Beds. Wezth. Pink-brown stain 5.2 Shale, dk grzy except in basal foot. with thin interbeds light silt & silty laminac. latter predom in upper foot. Basal foot highly plastic gray with red+yellow wezth .2 bentonite at 30
