2.5 Shale + s'endstone, dk gray clay shale with laminar and interbeds of siltstone, upper 1.7 predom. shale + siltstone, lower part siltstn grading to finess at base 2.0 Fine-grained, massive buff weather, SS, 4.4 Turey, interbedded siltstone, fine ss and shaly siltstn. Weathers like gray, some Fe staining layers. Ss beds thicken locally locally, Av. .4 to .6. 4.0 Shale- Dark gray to bl, finely silty. with interbeds siltstn, in upper 1.4 and lower 2.5, Thin bed bentonite at 2.6. Some shady beds in lower 2.0. 20.8 Sandstone, fine grained, friable, even- bedded x bedded, with Fe indurated layers weathering resistant + giving shelfy appearance. Local interbeds siltstone. Upper part (12.5) beds av. .4 to .6, lower more massive put platy fracture, .2+ Bentonite 6.3 Interbedded silty dk gray shale + Siltstone Thin bentonite 2.8 from top, resting on .8 bed siltstone. 6.3 Sandstone, fine gr, beds .8 to 1.2 over. buff weather, locally silty. 21
