Further S along slope - SS below erqill zone is about 14' thick. On slope above church: 14'+ lower part of SS - chert stringer bed 11.0 Wash covered slope, [illegible] shows fine grained friable sandstone weather orange, Fe stain. May be argillaceous. Grades down into interval below. 6.5 wash covered trench shows zone red argy/llaceous SS + sandy (?) siltstone at top - red may prob be secondary, below is 1" gray sandy claystone with coarse spot red stained. lower ½ part of interval obscured by slope wash. 11. Chiefly fine gr SS with Fe blebs in lower 6-8 ft weather to pitted surface, some siltstn in upper 3' sandy obscured + Fe-stained zones of finess + siltstone some with Fe blebs BB shot size. Local good intrefm. Cq1 of silty clsta chips in finess & siltstm. Lower 1" obscured - looks like grew, weathered silty, clayst with linear fine SS 15' Red silty claystone with mottles: purple + green in lower 6' yellow at very base where weathered & altered. 5.8 Sandstone, Fine gr, Fe specks massive, buff with pink cast. xlam.' Locally weather - pitted 45
