Then about 3' argillaceous ss, weather's out soft with blocky to subcouch fracture, then remainder is less argill., frizzle, whole is massive, x lowm. stones/pegs and inclusions? of chert common in lower 10' white clay blobs througt. Weather's gray with bdf/orange + loc red Fe stain also with knobby Fe couds. Chert looks indigenous to ss, (striktr) slope wash Laterally (to S) along slope the 3' argillaceous ss zone turns into sh silty-gray cloystone + forms bench in mid of the ss.
