Perry Park - Section of upper SS of Dakota - about 4 mile NW of Rt 150 (Colo) 17.8 10.6 6.5 2.9 37.8 fairly hard to fivg Sandstone massive crosslaminated, fine to medium grained with inclusions of fine white siltstone (looks argillaceous) and fine SS. Grainsize fine to medium downward with inclusions increasingly more frequent & larger downward, size ranging great - small? bounded pottos to large 6"x8" blocks 3'-12'x4', Lower 4 feet locally is concord of spalls & fragments da mod-coarse X lam SS whole worths buff to Fe brown, loc. redd ish, with frzys lite gray to lite br.gray, looks like local discont. 17.8 Sandstone, massive, X lam., furzble, lite gray, gray weathering with blocky weathered surface or raised joint fillings. Some of X bedding plzins are coarse with course gr, frzy. of white argill siltst, but no large chunks or in interuzl elve. log 24 quartzite base 6' Placed surfaces (basal fot of above not exposed. 6 Sandstone fine grained, massive hard bed, with irreg lam, + siltsst laminze. lite gray, weathers gray with Fe brown splotches - locally joint surfaces stained black, descr furnish. 1t Platgy siltstone covers Block sh comes in within 10' 35
