Dip & Strike on pretty beds N 43° W, 27-30 E Starts from base of dual SS 6.0 of other section Intervals 22.2 Chiefly platy siltstone and shaley siltstone with some beds fine SS → Sh whole illuminated to thin bedded w/this platy orange-brown, few shale beds, one of .2 ft about 6' from top 3 to .6 Silty Shale with peculiar silty bed that takes reddish brn Fe stain. 3.3 Siltstone above (22.2) Calculate Wash covered interval concealing clay bed. Meas. from shale (3to.6) to top SS bed), 27 to Strike of beds N. 43° W, dip 30° E Azimuth Outcrop N. 12° E Slope distance 25 feet Measured along N 65 W Slope angle - 38-40° wash, dirt & float deep, no bedrock reached by digging shallow holes under hard ledge. 6.1 1.1 Siltstone, light gray, somewhat sugilaceous shaley bed in mid.
