13.3' Sampled : siltstone and silty clay, thin layer siltstone in upper 4". dark gray locally iron stained: plant fragments. Weathers a light blue grey. Sample 21: upper half Sample 22 - lower half 6' med. gr. so. non-stained with hard caps of Fe cement in upper half inch (?? disformi? ity may be at the top of this sand layer, or between it and the sardstone below. 1' clayey siltstone: soft, light gray on weathered slope: 2.5' so: soft, friable, thin bedded with Fe stains; obtain from discoloration of numerous grain size particles scattered through. local beds undulated (this similar to so unit above overlying siltstone: relationships here may be strictly local) 21' SS: fine grained thin bedded irregular bedding planes beds (.1-.5") gray: finely speckled with brown-weathering grain size particles; whole wh. weathers platy; buff to brown, locally fairly well undulated: ledge-forming. Becomes poorly undulated laterally and underlies slope. runs slams and local channeling common in und. so. beds.
