mapped in the Pueblo and Welsenburg tulios. (On history of separation) The formation takes its name from Purgatoire canyon in the Mesa de Maya quadrangle. Goes on with page of detailed description that shows some difference with Glencirrn-Little sequence, but gets what appears to be Glencirrn cgl. with fish remains in it.
