4.0± (locally about 1) Sandstone massive x lam. conglomeratic, med to coarse w/ht scattered pebbles of chert + quartzite up to 4.5" Disconformity, Lytle-Glencaine. 4.0 soft Argillaceous siltstone + silty clay, greenish but light gray weathering Bed of dense brick red weathering Sandstone in middle part, other red stained zones locally present. 3.0± Irregular lense, of argillaiclaled to massive To attenuated ss., interlayered Fe brown. Locally cuts out against ss below 2.0± soft Argillaceous siltstone and silty clay as in 4.0 above, with some red stained silty streaks. Discon?. 22.0 Massive cross laminated medium to fine? quartzed ss with zones coarse grained, whitish on fresh, buff weathering w/ht some black stained surfaces. Local pinkish cast. Varies consid. in thickness. Festined red brown zone about 1.6 to 1.0 at top. Discount [15.0 (thins 1st)] 2.5 .2 to .20 Silty clay and claystone w/ 2 few local lenses hard ss. Upper 4't greenish, some red mottling, lower part red. Lense redish or weather fine to med ss Red siltier claystone mottled green (as above 15.0) Note: this interval varies with chness & ss lens in position. 19.6+ Massive med grained ss w/ht coarse + cgl zones in lower 8' Weather Fe brown, locally stained red by shale above 53
