1.0 Sandstone, fine to med, irreg, bedded in thin beds .025 - .3, locally heavily silty) + Fe impreg. Some layers argill + lite gray wash, others not argill + Fe red & br. wash.
2.2 Sandstone similar to above irreg, interbedded with thin beds gray, fissile highly plastic clay shale. SS beds are chiefly fine gr argilaceous with worm trails on bedding surfaces. Upper .3 clay = [sample 5]
