1991 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus H-B HNHR (5 May) 0900 Climb, I think this is the 90 hole. Empty, but in good shape. 7 May 1000 Climb. Empty. 9 May 1000 " " There's Fresh shit on top of the Fresh chips. 11 May 0700-0730 Spy, Birds in 90 tree, but no visits to hole. Hmmmm. 14 May 1040-1050. Spy on 'nest' tree. A swallow looked in once - that was it. 1250-1400 Watched H-B From atop Far Knol. I bird went To the "corner" - no other hints anywhere. No action at the horiz webbing hole. 16 May Roost watch. Suspicious Flush From near webbing hole long before roosting. At least one bird there for roosting 18 May 1600 Hello webbing hole - nada 21 May 0900 Hatchlings! After a lot of work resawing the grown-over door, I Find I can't reach them (or even get a good peep. May need to get Nancy up here. Set the H-B blind, but it really sux. 8 June Banded 3 kids. Nancy was able to reach the kids. This is one deep hole.
