21 Apr 0700 ACW's at that low walk up hole in the
sycamore stump where they laid r Failed in 88.
However, they're battling it out with a pair
of ATFC (ash thr) who are interested in starling
box 53. So I took down the box.
24 Apr 1940 Bird in Y 87a hole (the dark snag hole) but it
could just have been roosting in this shitty weather
Or maybe even a starling.
28 Apr 0755-0825 Spied. Nada. These guys are garrickly
+ drumming some, still weirdness w Y I suppose.
I had heard (yesterday) birds at Gate Field Ravine,
but no one there when I hello'd. Starlings are
again in the new hole in the sycamore. Knol birds
are spending lots of time in the sycamore across
From Y.
30 Ap 0715-0740 Spy. Didn't get alot. Weirdness. At one
point 2 birds flew to MOON. Agitation. At another
point 7 birds sat in the top of Walt's pine. This
is odd since there are only 5 birds in the group.
A turnovers? Why would that cause 1350 to want
to rejoin Y.
3 May 0730-0745 Spy, nothing but intrusions at Y
5 May 1230-1300 Spy, nothing but activity at granary.
I've done roast watches too, but still nothing. Starlings.
2 Jun pm ID'd # 1301 here
Roost watch: 4 birds into Y 87 hole. So where's #5 ?
July Busy - we've caught, radio'd, + bled lots here
