They keep flying over to the new hole. Chases are still occurring when 3rd bird shows up. (1991) April It seems 3 1150 Finally bought the farm. NOBA 3 now here. 21 Apr Gee, 1560 [illegible] seen at Plge "power struggle" even though she now has a man + a terr at Y. 22 Apr Walt catches NOBA 9 in high sycamore hole. 1630. 1560 + NOBA 2 defending granary together 23 Apr It seems Walt's 9 is the one that's been hanging out at Red House. Today she was on the hummer feeder for 5 min! (KP KP/PKP) 28 Apr 1000 Filled a log w dog food, then added a feeder to it or hung both up at granary. 1 May 1630 Bird to traditional hole 6 May 0700 8 May 1700 Still no eggs. 9 May 1600 1 Fresh egg! Roost watch. At least 1 in (I think just one) 10 May 1100 2 eggs. Marked #1-2. This hole is hell to put back together. Roosting: 1 bird in. 14 May 0840 5 eggs! And barn swallows. 26 May Walt reports 6 hatchlings. Oops. (No, just 5)
