Formicivorus Y H N H R Dec 88 Acorn Count: 1000 5 Feb Saw ♀ 1559, ♀ 1560, VOID ♂ 16 Mar 1115 Saw ♀ 1560 (♀♂), ♀ 1561 (ROG), ♂ 1150 Bird in locust hole, bird in wierd sycamore hole. ♂ karriting. Saw ♀ 1559. 17 Mar 0800 Saw ♀ 1560 (M/D). Also saw a chase. Both chaser (♀) and chasee flew toward Plge Checked holes - nothing. 20 Mar 1530 ♀ O W O Y (1559) 22 Mar 0800 saw 1150. 23 Mar 0800 ♀ 1350 (should be Y BF, but has been KNOL BF) is reasserting herself at Y. Lots of chases, some garricks drumming. Saw 1150 chasing her. At one point birds went to 88 next hole. A chase at Knol. NOBA ♀ at Y, chased to Knol - chased. 30 Mar Spent good part of am here getting malaise trap on line. No weirdness between Y - Knol. 4 Apr 0730 Weirdness here between Y - Knol 1200 Saw ♂ 1150, ♀ 1560, a little weirdness, ♂ 1559. 6 Apr 0800 1350 here again, persistently trying to move in. Other Knoll birds sitting in sycamore just across road From Y. Y birds all defending against 1350. 17 Apr 0615 ♂ in low locust hole (88 nest). Anything up? 1350? 1700 Checked hole - empty or dirty. 19 Apr 1000 NOBA ♀ intruding at Y. Retreated to sycamore just across lane. 9 July 1020 Saw OKT, ♂ MKMV: (chased Knol intr) OB/R ♂ = , ♂ YT
