The birds then ate tored dogFood (unknown quantity). However, the lack of Food did have an impact on nestling growth. This reduced Food regime was maintained until 1200 → today (22 May), when adults were provided with both dogFood r mealworms. The adults quickly Filled the chicks to satiation, after which I removed all but G and took them to M1/1(300) where they were switched with the 2 possibly doomed kids there (see Walt's notes). These 2 kids were nursed a bit, then added to the aviary nest at 1500. They were doing well at 1900. 23 May 1600 G 83.6 22.05 24 34 9 24 65.5 (2) 25 May 1600 - 40.4 14.1 Y 31.2 14.45 This baby is starving and looks yellowish. I gave it @ 10 mealworms. 26 May 1300 Fed Y about 10 mealworms. Still not looking great. 1600 - 46.8 (14.9), Y = 32.5 (14.6) then Fed 27 May 1600 - 51.5 (15.6), Y dead → put in Formalin in lab. 28 May 1600 - 57.6 (16.3) Z, 2.5. Removed stored dogFood.
