At 0835 I checked the kids - no blood, no pecks. At 0930 I fed the chicks some baby food. Also Found the bodies of the KOUT kids. Got liver tissue (see KOUT notes for details.) what a shitty day. 18 May Filmed this am. At 1730 I put in a KOUT kid and took out an aviary kid - they didn't mind. At 1800 I put in the other KOUT kid & took out the other aviary kid. They didn't seem to mind too much (ie curious non-feeding visits, wakas or drumming) but they were feeding them when I left at 1900. 19 May 0500 checked - KOUT kids dead (cold). Got aviary kids from incubator & put them in. 0700 Checked - aviary kids cold & approaching death. I removed them to incubator (where they recoupenated) KOUT kids = T16 + T17.
