~23 Mar Hello holes - nothing
28 Mar 1623-1635 Spy From Haystack. Saw 5 birds. Seem
bunched (mate-guarding?) but no interest in holes.
15 Apr 1415 - 1430 Spy From Haystick. At 1430 a
bird Flew to one of the holes (high) in the nest
tree. (At 1425 @ 4 birds Flew in a bunch from
E of the "nest" tree toward the gran.
1530 Climbed "nest" tree - checked holes - nada. The
traditional hole looked wet, the 87 hole has rotted
through the bottom (ie huge crevasses in the floor) The
hole above the traditional hole (also W Facing)
had some Ramelina in it, not much though. The
main problem w it seems to be that it has a
very uneven floor [W] (side view). A big piece of
hard wood protrudes from the floor. So...
19 Apr 0925-0945 Spy. Just Flycatching. No visits to "nest"
tree, but several to Fenceline trees and a spot in
the woods. No real Following behavior

tree. W Facing hole in old (sort of) knot. 3 eggs.
19 June 0930 I climb hole - still 3 eggs (bird in hole on
arrival.
22 June Still 3 eggs - I take 'em out - they're infertile!
