27 Apr 1745 Yippie. Found nest! In lower left of the
3 W.facing holes (of which 88 is the top)
28 Apr 1600 String breaks, and I left mine in the shed. No
one in hole on arrival though.
29 Apr 1430 Finally get a new string set, check hole -
empty but some (not alot) Fresh chips. The 88 hole
had an old mouse nest (I removed it) The color
on the 'new' hole is kinda shot.
4 Apr 1600 I spy For a Few minutes r notice a bird
at the 88 hole.
12 May 1000 Both holes have Fresh chips but no eggs
21 May 1200 Bird in 88 hole on arrival. Climb, but its empty. (I
peep the hole below it - am I mistaken or are the
chips gone.
31 May 0830 Climb - 88 hole empty (not many chips, new shit)
Other hole also empty. I hereby give up on them.
3 Jun Roost watch. About 1915 a bird came out of the
88 hole & flew off - no other birds seen or heard after
14 June 0910-0920 Watched From Far. No birds to holes. Starlings
landed pretty much at the hole but no one came.
19 June 0830 Hello holes - nothing. No acorns
* *Group Update* No acorns ever stored here this Fall,
so I'll consider them abandoned 890800 ± 2M
