Bleed again! 17 Mar 0950 Hello'd holes - nothing. Saw NOBA 4 (5199 or 5320) 20 Mar 1100 Hello holes - nothing. Saw NOBA 4 Roost watch - bird in ravine rotten horiz hole on arrival 22 Mar 1035-1050 Spy - nothing. 24 Mar 1040 Hello - nothing. 29 Mar 1445-1545. Spy - not even any birds. 31 Mar 1430 Bird in hole !!! In the bottom of the holes above the snag (newspaper hole). I weigh the alternatives + decide to ambush. Set ambush at both of the 2 holes (peep for eggs: saw nothing). 4 birds 1 Apr Ambush! 4 birds! Fucking A. 2 Fresh eggs! Well, at least it will be good plasma data. Caught both NOBA 49. 5199 now = 1682 = R^m/RO. 5320 = 1683 = WDB/R-LB = worn Feathers = Helper. Also caught 1372 + 1375. Let's hope they don't abandon. 4 birds in nest w 2 eggs - that's incidental incubation! 1682 & 1375 / put dot on head. PM. Patty did 3 hr watch - no show Roost watch: Lynn - no show 2 Apr 1300-1530 Nest watch. 1325-1401 NOBA 3 in hole. 1457-1516 3 1680 in nest 3 Apr 1100 Bird in hole on arrival. Climb - still 2 eggs - so the 9 must have started a new nest.
