(21.7, 9.8)? (25.15, 20.?)? 28/May Added in 3 M. lewis chicks 31/May Nest ambush (0740-1040). 1081 Fed @ 8 times. The only other bird to show was 8/1616, whom I caught (see cap rec). At 1000 I heard a juv squee-torring behind me (and a RS Hawk too-close) What's this? A missed nest? Gazo kids? Crazy kids being carried off by a RSHA? I took 14 tubes of blood from 1816 - I hope he's OK. I quit at 1040 - Fed the kids cat food. 1230-1630: Only 1081 + 1042 Fed (1479 came once but ambusher got stuck. Bad Luck 1 June 0645 Trying again. They feed w/in 3 min of my resetting it. Catch 1479. She still has a radio (sans antennae). I get it off (ouch) 0752 NOBA Female lands near west - is chased away. 0830 G Face Fed 0900 KYK Fed! Caught KYK - couldn't find implants 2 June 1320 Start again. At 1347 I nail 1826, remove at 1351 Bleed at 1355. Mass = 80.5g, ch = 135, tail = 75 bill = 31.5. Right T implant still in, about 2/4(?) I remove it w Swiss A.K., but manage to lose it in the grass. I paint her Blue Forehead, O check, molt 1079 Fed. Quit 1630
