21 Feb Finally, someone into an ambush. NOBA ♂ = 9 (OBW)
22 Feb 0700: Banded NOBA ♂ = 1681, ♀ = 1255 From Raju!
Not sure if this is BLM 3. Ambush in tall tree
near BLM 2 border. I'll call these birds Raju.
17 Mar 1120 Hello holes - nothing. Saw new holes in
typical tree. [Set ambush in double hole - pm]
18 Mar No one in, so remove sometime, Set blind
1220 2 ♂ at BLM 3. ♂ M (87) / DB-Y (v)
Didn't see legs of other ♂. Cukho? → 1678
I found @ 500 acorns in a tree in the woods
downslope.
19 Mar 1715-1730 At least 2 NOBA ♂ appear to be
living at BLM 3 Annex (the snag in the hollow
with broken limbs on the ground)
22 Mar 1111 Saw NOBA ♂ + (NOBA?) ♀ at BLM 3 Annex.
At BLM 3 saw 3 ♂ (2 banded, 1 NOBA) and
a VOID ♀. They flushed and went to
the edge of Dark Hollow (and Kirt). Then
A ♀ returned to BLM 3 and was involved
in a short chase, after which she flew to
Dark.
8 Apr pm: hello holes - nada
14 Apr 0645-0740: Hello - nada - However, there are starlings
in the 88a hole (cleaning tree)
15 Apr pm. Patti reports bird in the double hole
16 Apr 1000 Climb → check all holes - double → no chips, 88b OK,
new dead snag → shallow
