21 Apr 1330 Helld all holes, even the one down
the gully - nothin.
25 Apr 1415 Hello holes - nothin. I peep the traditional hole.
Its clean, but I wouldn't bet on eggs tomorrow (no
Fresh chips)
30 Apr Walt reports Egg #1. I roost watch. No one in.
1 May Danny reports 1 bird in hole at roosting.
5 May 0930 5 eggs
16 May 1830 still not hatched (eggs still there)
18 May 1600 Bird in hole, eggs warm and dead. Looks like
infertile or death soon after all were laid. Hmm.
8 June 1100 Hollo'd holes - nothing. 22 acorus in W grid.
Walt reports 1 egg
20 June pm. Danny does watch, reports feeding. Free-climbs the
nest (over at the saddle) and finds 2 kids r
2 eggs (one felt "squishy"). What is going on here?
1 egg Walt?
21 June Indeed, 2 kids r 3 eggs.
25 June Walt reports that one of the kids is dead. The
problem seems to be that there's an upper
or lower chamber. (so poor incubation or brooding)
11 July 1000. I bared the one remaining nestling. This
is the last baby of 1991.
