The Bathurst iron mines are in a crevity undulate by Ordovician and Silurian strata. The volcanics below think it are thinner. The ? Mesonic age or out there we associated the iron ores. The ore bodies do not appear to be large. The degree of metamor- phism indicates to Lawson an older age than from the Gold Series. How- ever they save out the atone age. We then moved on all the night to Halifax where we only got at six Sunday morning.
