In the evening he gave me a dinner and invited in a retired surgeon having a draft from and his wife, and architect Mr. [illegible] and his wife. The latter have a son at Jale who graduates this year. She ought to be at Commencement. The Clermont's expect to visit Jale via train auto next autumn, when I must look after them.
