at one store lift. walked down to the ocean front and just at the corner of the Bath House (Cig?) there are off Colemen (?) [illegible] sandstone reflects with trypora and tiny orthoceras. I felt a small lift. Hidden up are sandstones with zones, if well rounded boulders up to 2 feet across; occasi- onally has a outcropped me. The sand is dry. fine. At the corner of the beach [a little headland] there's a curious sandstone with layers as if flowed not horizontally. I can interpret this way as a small delta, and on either side of it is sandstone over the day, grows. The shore must have been close by. All the mount anywhere about are folded rock, and all appear to be folded. There's also some faulting but does align the shore nor evidence of faults. Then took the street cars out to the local Chat Hill. Queen and Bury Junction. It's a small affair in Romanist style, one stop ride.
