San Diego, Jan 30 Sunday Spent the greater part of the day on the beach at La Jolla, bathing in the sea and seeing the great waves breaking in the shore. La Jolla is a fine sea-side resort, but little bathing is done here except only by the very young. San Diego, Jan '31 Monday Spent the day at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography with Lincoln Paykan. First talked at her Boundlands of California Tropical Geogied. Devoted only the time to discussing the prospective lands in the Antillean region during the Paleozoic. See two large pages elsewhere. Informal me agreed my belief that he would write Florida to the Bahamas with a geographical line between them and the greater Antilles. Will now journey to go to Los Angeles tomorrow.
