Seattle, March 9, Wednesday For awhile in the morning read Wash. reports and then made some adjustments on my paleographic maps. Walked down town and enquired about railway return fare to New Haven. Then prepared for a lecture on the Dreyfus Trial. This I gave to about 50 men and women at 4 P.M. Spoke one hour and a half. Also prepared for a talk to some of the Faculty interested in Research. This I will give tomorrow. Had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Bearn and talked South America and finally Yale. Bt back to the hotel at 11 P.M. Sun shine most of the day, but rained again at night.
