July 28 continued. Further east near 3/4 mile Held again occurs inter- twiddled with Orleanica and here we get Spirifer emcinnus, L. chmtrideli, small Creistella and on certain beds an abundance of plant fragments. Above these jossy frondifurus beds is a third zone of the same blue muddy ls that has scattering well rounded petels, if the Oratapedia ls [?] kil. These petles are up to four inches long. A little further east at about 6 miles pm Oratopedia occurs the same ls intertwined with loras. Here we get the Dietrella, A. reticularis and L. chmtrideli, A little further is a mt arnt 1000 feet high of lara. The Held first seen is cut by several besader-like dikes from a few far thick to one gone much thicker, All if the strata seen are Heldutayian and I should say = Lourdalkousic. At least we did not encounter the Rensselavia stewarti horizon.
