Here about one sees no fms in basem series. If all this space (242 sqs.) be basem'd, it is 725' thick. On the eastern limit is at least 1300' thick. Observed July 21-1939. This La Picelle is about 300 sqs. across, and the thickness must be 600-700' thick, a far greater depth than that of the north coast of the Bay de Chaleur.
