Jacquet River, Friday July 19, 1929 dark cool morning with rain in the air. On the shore a strong current off the water and collecting disappearles. Started with Carpen Lake [at mt 2 miles] tr owest of the Belledune group. Started in to collect in te La Picelle ls. Through the lorn 140 fur west many small and very large Palae-ocpulus, and again 40 fur Nthen at the top of the Stricklandimia galbiansis gme. At the base of this scain saw one Cocliospira hemi[illegible]cus and a little higher Carpen for others looks like Dzyotella. Also Chinito (common) Spirifur radiata and J. Niagaraensis and other things. St Ryan to rain at 11:30 and or we returned to the Baroley House. Stayed in te hotel the rest of the day. Will again go on te section and determine it in more detail.
