New Haven - New York, Jan 2 - 1929.
Last night I finished felling my two tags, and
this morning I am off to the Museum at the usual
time. Had the usual breakfast at the Graduate Club
with Dr. Loney, and he told me more of the con-
dition of the one of the new edition of the Pearson text.
book. One chapter by Balemans (On Deposits) and the
one by Duncan are not yet in his hands, but all were due
in a few days. Loney hopes to complete it soon and
deliver to Wiley's not later than the fifteenth of this month.
At the office I read over once my paper "Chamber-
lains Philosophy on Correlation", and now Men Le Vene
is sending me final copy, it will go to Professor Bastin in
a few days. Also my Vice Presidential Address in one
form or another to Science, and the other copy to Dr.
Joe of Amer. to Secretary Bush,
Duncan took my baggage to the railway.
Then to bank for traveling money and to adjust my
account.
Took a lemon Duncan, and at 2.48 P.M.
he took me to the railway and I am off for New York City.
Put up as usual at the Murray Hill Hotel, where
I have been staying for about 35 years.
