These Levis engl are of the same nature as those of Big with te addition ther of Levis the two laymans, are reefs in situie. Ice transportation has nothing to do with the phenomenon, nor Bailey's submarine land-slides. The St Lawrence geosyncline was folding at teh time of deposition causing fats to appear as islands and ridges above sea level, and Coasterine own-cratting lime mud flats furnishing the flint jettle pieces. Elsewhere cliffs were rising furnishing older rocks and from the inland came still older rocks and finally the round gained grind-flam sands and rein quartz pettles along with an occasional green toulder or pettle and some feldspar.
