Quebec City, Thursday Aug 29-1929.
After supper last night we crossed over to Quebec City for some sight seeing.
Spent all the morning around Quebec looking at the city and the rocks. After lunch went via the electric train to Montmorenci Falls. We saw the downtown trains, Is and ok to the S of the Gichenan grein, and above the falls the contact of the Trenton on the Chicohan. The extent of the Chicohan is very ample with irregularities up to 10 feet seen at the falls and the woods to the north to the road to Beaufore. The Trenton Is clearly clean on the Chicohan with the fur dollars filled with disordered Holendronas (up to 10" across). Some of the Holendronas are lying directly in the grein (I have a harel with two of them and one was attached to the grein - the whole piece I have lay directly in the grein separately from some from me-light met if lying mud. The other heels also lay directly on the grein.
Many Trenton fins could be collected, but we still no ham-mers with us. Coppen was glad to see this famous old place made or by Logan and others.
So back to the hotel at 5 P.M. Coppen wanted to take his car to the Garage for repairs and tube mending.
