Causapscal, Quebec, August 20 - 1929
We left New Richmond at 8.15 O., M., in a faultless cold morning. It cold last night that doors closed tight.
Left to Metapedie at noon and had lunch due. Gick-ory telephoned yesterday for us to go on to the place where he is stopping at the Bellvue Hotel. We arrived at 2.15 O., M., but Gickmay was not on duty for the day, took rooms and will see him when he gets in.
West of Carlton shoreward of the mountain is a high ridge over which the Boulder and farms. Here we sees flood red emyl, stand-onnealon ridge, and because of their attitude they must be if the Devonian Baske ss series. To the north again is a low crest. These rocks are probably not Bonarentine and then maybe no B, west of Carlton.
The slope to from Devonian ss with inter bedded emyl, grass occur about 30 miles over of terrain to Gun Point, This is further nor than he Deer, to the west of Campbelltn.
West of the Park Daniel folds all in low country until one comes to the Silurian lara ridge of Black Cape, Brown from miles aside. Between all a low land from New Richmond across Cossia- pedia Bay, each of which for about Maria towards the west are the high grass mountains, striking north past of Nouvelle and Eccuminiae, and other manes south of Dalhousie and Camp-telltn on the other side of the Restigouche Bay.
