Grand Breere, Sunday Aug. 18-1929.
A cloudy morning until the sun heading through by nine A.M. Evidently it is not going to rain this Sunday, the first one while in Canada.
Coffin purchased of Mrs. Joseph Bore two rag rugs, one a beauty with a rose and elma leaf design for six dollars. I purchased three small ones, one a three-star design made by Mrs. Daniel Bore, a sister of Mrs. Joseph Bore. The first cost $6.50.
At 1.15 P.M., we started on our return trip and got to the Balers Hotel at Sappe at 3.45 P.M., considering the very poor road from Grand Breere to Quebec Balereville or quite to this was dry fair week.
In the evening called on Frederick Richmond, the local erleeth and philosopher. He knows much about the oil well country of the year River, and from his account that should be discovered here coming wells.
To Monday we start back to Sappe, but first to help out Christmas in the Metapedia Valley.
