Gaspe, Quebec Tuesday, August 13, 1929.
Paid a short visit to the locality and my Gaspe at twelve miles gaily from Kirkay Jones in the Gaspe ss. Sota fur good fons.
Shortly after lunch jacked up and we started on our Ford for Grand Soree. It was nearly 1:30 P.M. when we left Gaspe and headed around the peninsula of the Quorn with a valley and finally across the river to the Forillon. This is 8 miles N.W. of Gaspe. It was about 15 miles away east to Grand Soree over very bad road full of holes and steep bumps hills.
Copper had to exercise all his ingenuity to get the car to Grand Soree when we arrived at 3:45 P.M.
We are stopping at Joe & Dave's home who re- gularly take in guests.
At 4:30 P.M. we started up the King's road to see the St. Albans Cliffs. They looked as if old - grand, hip and white.
