"Port Daniel Continued and Mount Holyoke College. The last things collected were a fine Amphrycus, three Harania one of which showed to Hambard and there after one FORT LIG (collected by Mrs Dells), one Stricklandinia about seven inches long, two good Omythgra, and several small but perfect Strick- landinias. Palaerophus are seen in the lower nodular beds below the Stricklandinia zone, and at least one small one was seen in the upper part of the Stricklandinia zone. Clorinda is common in the lower part of the same zone, and Cope says now we Eupisyn nadiata and E.nigraeensis. I gave most of the forms collected to Mrs Dells, and together with her a fair representation of the coats. In the afternoon we collected on top of Red Point in the lower beds of the Red Point or the point Cristalreinus beds. But the usual run of things and upon the whole Mrs Dells has a fair collection. Dr Dells collected one large Rhynchonella Stricklandi, and most of a small Brontes. Cope also saw a Hlaenus ochus, and I a tail for a small Brontes with spines. Attached to Port Daniel with thanks shown."
