December 26-1923 Wednesday Started out at 9 A.M. To see the new struc- tures about the White House again, and then gwent to see the Freer Art Gallery. At 11 A.M. got into the National Museum and at 11:45-saw Stanton, Min Moody and Dorothie Omerill. The letters history of D.A. Geology is now printing by the Gude Press. Omerill is 70 years old, but looks to me almost as young as when I saw a party his departure in the N.M. 20 years ago. At 2 P.M. went to the large Intern. Aep. building to attend the Council Meeting of the G.S.A. At 6 P.M., adjourned to 8 P.M. The latter meeting started until 11 P.M. Main topic The Lawson Abstract Journal. Council hearty in favor of the more, and willing that the Society take up its publication of the funds we raised by the Mat. Geol.
