Drehu measured the upper Cambrian quartzite limestone and makes them 350 [illegible] feet thick. The underlying Bolsor quartz- itic are several hundred feet thick. The rest on the Pinal schist, a good deal of which I saw, but not the actual contact. The down faulted region to the O.E. of the Bolsor quartzite mountains begins with a little of this quartzite followed by about 35 feet of C. li. Then comes Mississip- pian li that lie almost horizontal. Both are down faulted blocks. The Miss is cliffped about 1000 feet and no C in farther Hood cliffped at least 300 to 400 feet, It cuts out 30 feet of the C. li., and all of the Devonian. In the Miss, the common fossils are ceras and chiefly Ptenophyllum. Saw also Spirifer more abundant & plicata
